  • Alumna in the News - The success of elite water polo player, Lily Dunn (2023), was celebrated in yesterday’s The Sydney Morning Herald. Her achievements both as an athlete on track for the Olympics and a recent HSC graduate, are also a testament to the work of the ֭Ƶ Sports Department, which balances support for elite athletes with a strong culture of “sport for all”.
  • Alumnae Insights 2024 - Inspiring the Next Generation of Business and Finance Leaders.
  • Asking and Accepting - Exploring themes of trust and vulnerability, student leader, Charlotte (Year 12), challenged the perception that asking for or accepting help is a sign of weakness or a burden.
  • Balmoral Swim - ֭Ƶ loves a sporting contest that makes a difference, and we were proud to field an impressive seven teams in the recent Balmoral Swim charity event on Sunday 24 March, 2024.
  • Brighter Day - On Friday 23 February, ֭Ƶ became a riot of colour as the Prefects led a day of vibrant activities to support Brighter Day, raising awareness and funds to fight youth suicide.
  • Cinematic Challenge - Drama lovers from every House took over campus on Tuesday 5 March, filming their entries in the annual ֭Ƶ House Drama Competition.
  • Combining Forces for Developing Nations - The members of Ralston and Messiter Houses rallied the ֭Ƶ community for a charity with big aspirations and a huge heart.
  • Cosmic Connections - This Harmony Week, Languages Captain, Ulyssia, emphasised that we are each significant, unique and (despite our differences), deeply connected to one another.
  • Curious, Not Judgemental - Taking inspiration from a middle-aged rapper, Prefect Pia encouraged her peers to celebrate their authentic selves and let others do the same.

Our youngest students centred their first big research project around the importance of empowering women and each other.

  • Junior School Walks 86km For a Cure - This term, the ֭Ƶ Junior School Student Representative Council (SRC) decided to hold a fundraising activity to support the Children’s Cancer Institute.
  • Marching Towards Leadership - Our Cadets were put through their paces in this week’s Cadet Promotions Course.
  • Most Improved - ֭Ƶ Tennis is back on the map, after a stunning performance at the two-day Tildesley Shield Tennis Tournament in Pennant Hills.
  • Nationals Win - Year 8 student, Zoe, showcased her significant sporting skills over the break as a member of the National Championship-winning NSW U13 Indoor Hockey Team. She scored numerous goals and was named a Player of the Match.
  • Olympic Hopes - Year 11 student Ava represented the nation at the Gangwon 2024 Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in South Korea during the holidays. She shared her love for her sport and aims for an Olympic future, with her peers in the Principal’s Assembly.
  • Passing Out Parade - The annual Passing Out Parade is a chance to pay tribute to the remarkable contribution of students who are graduating from the Shore Cadet Unit (SCU). This year, the Welcome speech was delivered by the Senior Under Officer, CUO Annabelle (Year 12), from ֭Ƶ.

  • ֭Ƶ Welcomes AHISA Heads - On Monday 8 April, ֭Ƶ welcomed Heads and teachers from 26 different schools, spanning Western Australia to Hamilton, New Zealand. The tour was part of a pre-conference program for the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA) leading, learning and caring conference, “Vision in Volatility”.
