Balmoral Swim
³ûÖÊÓƵ loves a sporting contest that makes a difference, and we were proud to field an impressive seven teams in the recent Balmoral Swim charity event on Sunday 24 March, 2024.
Our competitors joined more than 1,000 participants as they hit the water in the Schools Relay to help raise almost $100,000 for the Children’s Cancer Institute.
The ³ûÖÊÓƵ results were fantastic, with our swimmers achieving silver in the Senior and bronze in the Junior team categories.
Two of our Year 10 competitors, Scarlett and Isabel, shared their love of the event: “We particularly enjoy the sense of camaraderie that comes with participating every year and the chance to spend time with other people who are passionate about the cause,” they said.
“It is not about who wins or how fast you are as a team but having fun and just taking part. The experience has taught us the importance of encouragement and providing support for all team members. A lot of children are affected by cancer, and we are grateful for the chance to raise money for them,” they added.
