Educational Support Services

Who are we?
The ESS team consists of specialist teachers trained in Learning Support, Gifted Education, and English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D), who support students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Our vision is to provide personalised support to the young women in our care.

What do we do?
We provide additional educational services, responding to the needs of individuals and groups requiring support within and beyond the classroom environment.

In our role
We work collaboratively with parents and academic staff to:

  • Assess students
  • Differentiate and create resources and scaffolds
  • Provide individually tailored programs and one-on-one support if needed
  • Assist with organisational strategies, study techniques and assessments
  • Manage disability provisions
  • Oversee mentor programs that support literacy and numeracy development

How can we help?
By fostering positive and nurturing relationships, we provide an environment where students feel comfortable and supported in their learning goals.

To help us support our students, parents are asked to share any relevant information about their daughter’s wellbeing and academic needs.

The Enrolments Team can answer Educational Support Services queries for those interested in joining the School. Parents of current students can access our for more information and resources and class teachers and the Heads of Teaching and Learning in Junior SchoolMiddle School, Upper School or Senior College can also assist.
