  • Cultural Immersion - Venturing beyond the confines of their classrooms, a group of Year 9 students travelled to Cambodia and East Kimberley in the September holidays for a unique opportunity to contribute to underprivileged local communities.
  • Design and Technology Showcase - HSC Design and Technology students unveiled their major projects to family and friends, demonstrating creativity and a commitment to building positive change.
  • Elevating the Sisterhood - In a compelling address, Media Captain Mischa (Year 11) advocated for a student culture of mutual encouragement rather than competition and envy.
  • Elevating Unity - This week’s inspiration comes from Prefect, Jess, who incorporated our Student Leaders’ 2023-2024 theme of Celebrate to Elevate in a speech promoting mutual appreciation and acceptance.
  • Embracing Uniqueness - Drama Captain and Prefect, Sophie, delivered a message of self-discovery and acceptance as she underscored the power of authenticity and the importance of appreciating the unique qualities in others.
  • Festival of Speech - ֭Ƶ is making inroads in the debating sphere, achieving its best-ever result at last weekend's 2023 Festival of Speech. This is credited to the students' impressive and growing understanding of current affairs and their maturity of thought.
  • Finding Meaning - Year 6 has begun its journey towards the apex of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) – the final exhibition. This year, the students are exploring the human experience and the diversity of our perspectives, through the lens of storytelling.
  • Full Circle - The Class of 2024 embarked on a transformative retreat in the picturesque Shoalhaven, a stepping stone into their final year of school.

  • Honouring Sacrifice - This week, we marked Remembrance Day with a Principal’s Assembly led by our Cadets. It featured this strong speech delivered by CUO Jess (Year 11) that paid tribute to the countless servicemen and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and urged us to deeply appreciate the peace and security we enjoy today. Lest we forget.
  • International Sports Stars - ֭Ƶ is proud to announce that two of our students will represent their country during the school holidays in two separate northern hemisphere events.
  • Lucem Sonos - ֭Ƶ's pilot Lucem Sonos exhibition took us on a journey of light and sound, representing an interdisciplinary collaboration between Years 9 and 10 Science and Visual Arts and Photomedia students.
  • Promoting Kindness - This week, in the Principal’s Assembly, it was our Junior School Student Leaders, Lily and Sabine, who shared their inspiration for living life well. Lily’s (Year 6) speech is reproduced below.
  • Reframing Success - Every week in Assembly, we gain insights from speeches delivered by members of our Student Leadership Team. This week, with Year 11 on retreat, we had the opportunity to hear from Scarlett, a Year 10 student. She shared the importance of refraining from comparison with others.
  • Remembrance Day 2023 - The Shore Cadet Unit was honoured to participate in a Remembrance Day Chapel Service at Shore School on Saturday 11 November.
  • STEM Excellence - We highlighted problem-solving skills and a passion for critical thinking in the Principal’s Assembly this week, as we celebrated students who have excelled in three key national competitions.
  • Sustainable Music - The Year 1 “garbage band” furthered understanding about music, community, and sustainable living.
  • Swimming Carnivals 2023 - School carnivals are without a doubt one of the top highlights of the year. The House spirit, friendly rivalry, good sportsmanship, participation, and outstanding performances make for a brilliant day for all involved, girls, staff and parents alike.
  • Teachers’ Guild Recognition - ֭Ƶ is proud to announce that Principal, Dr Briony Scott, has been bestowed the highest honour from the Teachers’ Guild of NSW, the 2023 Phyllis Evans Medal. Nine further ֭Ƶ educators were also recognised with prestigious awards.
  • ֭Ƶ's Eco-Warriors - Our Junior School Student Representative Council has been revolutionising recycling habits in the Junior School classrooms by making recycling more accessible, engaging, and fun for their peers, fostering a sustainable mindset for the future.
